Returning Soldiers and Military Families Face a New Set of Tribulations Dr. Carol Francis, Psychologist, will be discussing these issues on 5 Radio Shows, Nov 9, 10, 11
Imagine facing serious depression, culture-shock, family discord, PTSD, angry outbursts, joblessness, addictions, and physical maladies. Not much of a reward for soldiers and their military families as re-unit at home. Being prepared and aware is essential as we transition our military communities. Psychologist Dr. Carol Francis will be discussing these complications on 5 Radio Shows November 9, 10, 11, 2011.
Dr. Carol Francis, Psychologist, provided psychotherapy for Vietnam Vets during the late '70's-'80's, Gulf War Military Families during the '90's, and now for those returning home during these last few years. As an outgrowth of her involvement, she authored, "Re-Uniting Soldiers with Families" to help everyone transition more successfully.
"Every soldier and family member has suffered the strain of deployment and now are different people as a consequence. Some have improved themselves. Many have suffered." Dr. Carol Francisnotes further, "Returning home, soldiers will face culture shock, estrangement, physical maladies, family conflicts, employment instabilities, PTSD, depression; the list goes on and one."
Call in between 6:30 to 7:00 AM PT at (626) 414-3510.
